For 30-plus years, Pat has represented Fortune 500 companies and other large, sophisticated enterprise customers in negotiating complex global technology and telecom deals. These include SaaS, cloud, systems integration, application management services, infrastructure management services, digital content management, hybrid cloud/on-prem services, business process outsourcing, and data protection agreements.

During Pat’s career, he’s spent several years “on the inside,” serving as in-house counsel for service providers.  This gives him keen insight into providers’ needs, risks, and hot buttons and enables him to craft innovative contractual solutions that are acceptable to providers while fully protecting customers—thereby speeding deals to conclusion.

On the telecom side, he’s handled licensing, manufacturing, retailing, satellite transponder leases, dark fiber leases, collocation, rooftop and antenna space leasing, call center services, billing platform services, and IRUs.

One of his specialties is workouts, renegotiations and dispute resolution when these deals run into trouble or client needs change. He also advocates on clients’ behalf in a broad spectrum of federal and state regulatory proceedings affecting the rights and obligations of telecommunications service users.
